Met Consulting Engineers provides on-site technical supervision of engineering works or administration of engineering contracts to projects requiring site supervision and resident staff.

Experienced engineers are available to set out the works, supervise and check contractors’ setting out in addition to carrying out large scale measurements of, for example, earthworks for certification of payment. Many clients find it beneficial having a permanent member of staff on-site to see that all stages are checked and passed and that the site conforms to the plans.

When undertaking site supervision, Met can arrange for quality control testing to be carried out, such as:

• Relative density testing on compacted fill and road formation
• California Bearing Ration tests to ascertain sub-base thickness
• Particle-size analysis to check sub-base grading and slump
• Cube compression tests on concrete.
